Gage and I met at Whitemarsh Park outside of Centreville, MD one summer evening to shoot a video for one of his original tunes called “Bukowski.” The weather was beautiful, the light was just right, and the artist was amazing. Truly a magical evening captured on video.

How it was made

This video was captured on my father’s charter fishing boat, the Julie Marie II, in Crab Alley on Maryland’s Eastern Shore one late October evening. The weather was perfect, the lighting was in our favor, and Gage’s performance was stellar as usual. One camera was hand help by Joe Bryan on the boat, a Sony Fx3. Another camera, a Sony A7iv, was on a tripod and manned by a good friend and amazing camera man, Mr. Austin Smale, on the dock. Austin’s camera used a 100-400mm lens to allow for both wide shots of the entire boat as well as tighter shots of Gage. Joe’s Fx3 had a Sony 50mm f1.2 to allow for a more intimate framing of Gage on the boat to allow the viewer to feel like they are there with him.

Audio was captured with one condenser mic - a Neumann TLM 102. All audio was recorded into Reaper, mixed, and mastered by Joe Bryan. The video was edited and color graded in Davinci Resolve Studio, emulating a vintage film aesthetic to match the artist's music and aesthetics. The final product showcases a seamless blend of captivating visuals and polished audio. Contact us to bring your artistic vision to life!

How it was made

Welcome to Image & Sound Media, where we provide professional videography and audio engineering services to capture each artist’s vision. This video was shot in 4K using two cameras: the Sony A7iv with a Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens as the main camera, and the Sony ZV E10 with a Sony 35mm f/1.4 G Master lens as the B camera. The A cam was handheld by Joe Bryan, and the B cam was on a slider.

Audio was captured with two condenser mics - a Neumann Clone condenser for Gage’s vocals and an MXL condenser for his guitar.
